I created the test appointment in OWA and the SA account did increase in size and items.

In the next step it says to verify the client permissions on the free/busy folder (Step 4).

I was wondering if anyone had any understanding of the Exchange 2007 event: Error updating public folder with free/busy information on virtual machine (Event ID 8207) I have had a look around and even tried removing and recreating the public folder database with no joy.

We dont really use public folders but the event keeps popping up in event viewer every hour or so.

The error number is 0x80004005 in the event viewer every hour.

I believe the cause was not replicating correctly before an Exchange5.5 I assume you didn't create a replica of the folder from 5.5 to E2K, is that what you meant?
